Subsidized Pastor Retreats

One of the main goals of Don Bushnell Ministries (DBM) is to refresh, protect, and heal pastors from burnout. One way we do that is by hosting Subsidized Pastors’ Respite Trips.

With the excuse of not having enough money to go on vacation eliminated, now it is up to each pastor to push through the excuse of not having enough time to go on vacation. If you struggle with this mindset, it is important to remember that Jesus taught His apostles that after fruitful times of ministry it is imperative to rest (Mark 6:7-13, 30-31). Pastors, I want to encourage you to slowdown and take the time to read this passage. (And, if you like Word Studies, take a closer look at the Present, Middle, Imperative Greek Verb that Jesus uses in verse 31 that is translated ‘Rest’.)
