TPM Training Request

Don Bushnell Ministries offers free hands-on Transformation Prayer Ministry (TPM) Training to believers in Jesus Christ who meet certain criteria.

Chaperone From Your Local Church Required

The starting criteria to receive this free training is the approval of and commitment from your local home church. Whether you are male or female, every hands-on TPM training session will be scheduled with our trainer, you, and a chaperone from your local church that the leadership of your church approves. This chaperone needs to be committed to learning the TPM Process, so you have a partner in the learning process.

This chaperone can be a pastor, elder, home group leader, or anyone your local church deems capable to be the first line of ministry you turn to if you are having a bad day. In the event that your bad day is beyond your chaperone’s ability to help you, your chaperone needs to be well enough trained and connected that they know who to turn to in your local church or your local community to provide you the help you need.

Ultimately, the goal of Don Bushnell Ministries in providing this free training is to strengthen the local church by strengthening believers. Our goal is to help believers to learn this powerful tool, but not to become the primary source of ministry for a person. We want that primary ministry to come from your local church.

Chaperone's Role During Training

In addition to everything stated above, during a hands-on TPM Training session, the primary role of the chaperone is to provide a layer of protection against anything inappropriate happening. The second most important role of the chaperone is to be praying and interceding silently as he or she feels the Holy Spirit leading them during the session. This is particularly helpful if they realize the Mentee is struggling during the hands-on training session.

The third optional role of the chaperone is note taker. I don’t expect the chaperone to have to be the note taker, but if they feel gifted at note taking and enjoys doing it, it can be a helpful part of the process. (At the end of the session, all notes are given to the Mentee to keep or destroy.

Next Steps

After you have read all the above information, the next step is for you to fill out the “Mentee TPM Training Survey”, and to have the chaperone from your local church fill out a survey as well.
